Unicode and legacy Tamil fonts

  • Unicode Tamil fonts follow the standard encoding used by websites, phones, Word and Google Docs. Choose these for anything digital.

How to install a font

  1. Download the font file and unzip it if needed.
  2. On Windows, right-click the .ttf or .otf file and choose Install. On Mac, double-click it and choose Install Font.
  3. Restart Word, Photoshop or your design app, then pick the font from the font list.
